Hello

I am a Chartered physiotherapist and recognised by the Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC). I graduated from the Manchester School of Physiotherapy at Manchester University in 1999 and began my career in NHS hospitals gaining experience in assessing and treating a wide range of conditions. I then went on to specialise in musculoskeletal outpatients. I have worked in a number of healthcare settings both NHS and Private as well as within the sporting environment with a local rugby team.

As a senior physiotherapist at The City Sports Clinic, London Bridge Hospital, I worked closely with leading specialist consultants and other members of the multidisciplinary team. During this time I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy and published my research project on anterior knee pain. Throughout my career I have had a keen interest in biomechanical problems and core stability retraining and in 2004 I successfully began using Pilates exercises to aid the rehabilitation of sport injuries, posture related pain and post-op pain and weakness.

Since leaving the city I have returned to west Kent, and as a keen distance runner myself, I have developed a special interest in assessing and treating running injuries using both Physiotherapy techniques and modified Pilates exercises. I have links with a running coach locally who can assess and correct running style to reduce the risk of injury recurrence.

I am now using my skills to treat clients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions in the comfort of their own homes, as well as teaching Pilates exercises to individuals on a one-to-one basis and within a class setting in and around Chiddingstone.
